The La Plata County Economic Development Alliance's eighth annual Economic Summit will take place Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the Sky Ute Casino & Resort in Ignacio. The day-long business conference, entitled "Change: Get on Board," will address today's challenges and opportunities facing businesses and communities; which include changes in technology, staffing, health care, higher education, and mergers.
