Community members can learn about edible and medicinal plants in the local environment during two alpine hikes Aug. 8 and Aug. 15.
Participants will sample the bounty of nature while getting outside, meeting new people and experiencing the beauty of the outdoors.
The cost is $35 per hike per person.
