Keely Costello named to president’s list

Keely Costello, a resident of Ignacio, has earned placement on the Gonzaga University President’s List for spring semester 2014.

Students must earn a 3.7 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.

Gonzaga University is located in Spokane, Washington.

Jacob Alsdurf graduates from Black Hills State

Jacob Alsdurf, of Durango, was one of more than 300 students who graduated during Black Hills State University’s 167th commencement ceremony.

Alsdurf earned a Master of Science degree.

Black Hills State University is located in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Autumn Allison named to dean’s list

Autumn Allison, of Pagosa Springs, qualified for the Spring 2014 dean’s list at Belmont University.

Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade-point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C. Belmont University is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Timberline Academy announces graduates

Colorado Timberline Academy, a private high school located north of Durango held its 39th commencement exercises in an outdoor ceremony on June 1.

Diplomas were presented to these graduates: Aaron Blog of Albuquerque; Jessica Closson of Norwood; Kendall Currier of Santa Fe; Samuel Halac of Fort Collins; Nicolas Marlow of Milton, Georgia; Christopher Moraga of Placitas, New Mexico; Cecelia Sayler of Evergreen and Calabria Taber of Maple Park, Illinois.

The faculty selected Currier to receive the Academic Excellence Award for outstanding academic work during his year at the academy. The math and science award went to Halac, and the Cooper Larsh Scholarship award to Closson.
