The Athletics Department at Durango High School will hold a mandatory parent, coach and athlete meeting for all fall sport participants at 6 p.m. Aug. 8 in the school’s main gym.
Important information will be distributed, and there will be an opportunity to meet coaches and the new athletic director, Adam Bright.
All Durango High School student athletes participating in CHSAA-sponsored athletics or activities must turn in a red card to participate.
DHS will host red-card registration for fall sports during these dates and times:

A combination of classroom learning and skills and conditioning will be featured.
The camp is voluntary, and there will be no contact. Players should be dressed in shorts, T-shirts and cleats.
Miller Middle School will begin official football practices at 8 a.m. Aug. 15.
Players must have submitted athletic registration forms, health physicals and activity fees to participate.

Each school in Durango School District 9-R will host a check-in to collect registration paperwork from new students, confirm information for returning students and share important school information about the coming year.
