Columbine Christian recognizes students

Columbine Christian School announces that these students exemplified responsibility in December: Cedar Turner, Hudson Gray, Sean Geraghty, Jesse Powers, PJ Wilkinson, Makenna Coleman, Dylan McCaw, Hunter Gray, Caleb Tenold, Rachel Tillotson, Zach Heide, Brady McCaw and Anna Kumpenhower.

Each month, the school highlights a character quality. Students are nominated by peers and faculty when seen demonstrating it.

Mountain Middle to open enrollment

Mountain Middle School announces that enrollment for incoming sixth-, seventh- and eight-graders is open from Jan. 5 to Feb. 28. The lottery will take place March 4.

Training available for infant, toddler care

The Early Childhood Council of La Plata County announces an upcoming Expanding Quality in Infant/Toddler Care Training Program.

This 48-hour Colorado Department of Human Services approved training will begin Jan. 21 and end May 13. All classes will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. Attendance is mandatory at every class. The registration deadline is Jan. 5.
