CSU-Global offers $5,000 scholarships to rural students

Colorado State University-Global Campus is offering $5,000 scholarships for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in select rural Colorado counties, including San Juan County.

CSU-Global is the 100 percent online university within the CSU system. It offers bachelor’s-degree and master’s-degree programs designed for working adults.

Because its courses are entirely online, students do not need to move to finish their college degrees.

CSU-Global also offers monthly term starts of compressed eight-week terms throughout the year, and a tuition guarantee that locks in a student’s tuition rate.

Recipients will receive $5,000 toward their tuition. Applications are being accepted at http://csuglobal.edu/coscholarship.

For more information, call (855) 810-8720.

To return an application or for more information, mail Cindy Rhodes, program director Western Colorado Community Foundation, P.O. Box 4334, Grand Junction, CO 81502; email crhodes@wc-cf.org; or call (970) 243-3767.
