Christian Gillen receives recognition

Christian Gillen of Hesperus was named to the 2015 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Football All-Academic Team.

Gillen, an accounting major at Fort Lewis College, earned Honor Roll accolades.

To qualify for First Team All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. All players who were not voted to the first Team All-Academic were automatically qualified for the All-Academic Honor Roll.

Isabella Bernazzani named to all-academic team

Isabella Bernazzani of Durango was named to the 2015 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Volleyball All-Academic Team.

Bernazzani, a exercise science – exercise specialist option major at Fort Lewis College, earned All-Academic Honor Roll accolades.

To qualify for First Team All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
