The “resistance” that you seem somewhat proud to be a part of is a group of people that don’t want to accept the results of a democratic election. The orderly transition of power has been stopped by leftists who won’t even allow Trump, after two years in office, to seat his chosen staff, in many departments.

This isn’t some minor glitch: we’re basically in a civil war because of the group you fondly call “the resistance.” The press’ general reputation is destroyed.

Years ago, when I would walk past the school of journalism building on my way home from engineering school, I’d encounter a lot of the mediocre intelligences in journalism who were sure they were smarter and more perceptive than most people – but none of them could make it in an engineering or the STEM curriculum.

In other words, there is an abundance of ego in leftist journalism and it finally backfired. If you remember, in the 2016 election and previous presidential elections, more liberal journalists have been caught each time actively campaigning for the Democrat candidate. Trump didn’t do that to the press: you did it to yourselves.
