Eighth grade students receive awards

Bayfield Middle School held its continuation ceremony May 22 for eighth graders. The four students with the highest GPA spoke at the ceremony. They are, from left, Callie Jung, Lacey Hoselton, McKay Wells and Wyatt Whitmer.<br><br>The Outstanding Wolverine awards, selected by BMS faculty, were awarded to Wyatt Killenen and Lilly Imhoff.<br><br>The Shaniah Shines Awards, voted on by eighth-grade students, went to Cole Wood and Tiara Christiansen. The award honors kindness in middle school students and was named after former BMS student Shaniah Farmer. Collin Jackson and Kelea Damp won the best attendance awards for eighth grade. <br><br>Best attendance awards for seventh grade went to Adam Schulz and Tiana Holden, and for sixth grade went to Jason Schneider and Aliah Personeus.
