Elect a councilor as great as the city

I hope to share with each reader my long experience with Sean Waddell and encourage your vote for him as one of Durango’s next city councilors. The best aspect of Waddell always has been that he is a hard-working, roll-the-sleeves-up-and-get-your-hands-dirty kinda guy. Every time I have seen a challenge posed to this man there has been an immediate response to work through the problem. No matter how much effort it takes. He enjoys being part of the solution and never has once, in the decades I have known him, exhibited a less than professional demeanor.

Debate has value for Waddell because it gives him perspective to make the best choice he can make with the given information, and he cares about other people’s views. Appreciating different views is an asset vital in a city councilor.

He has a strong financial background, is co-owner of a small business with his wife, Cyd, father to two great kids who grew up in the local school system, and he constantly exhibits a passion for the Colorado way of life. Waddell grew up in Durango, has its best interests at heart and can be focused on the job of city councilor.

Please vote for Waddell in the coming election and give Durango a city councilor that is as great as the city itself.
