This City Council election has provided me with a sense of hope that I haven’t experienced in a local election before.
As a young working professional, I’m thrilled to see a candidate who I feel I can relate to. It’s clear that Harrison Wendt truly understands how managing to survive financially in Durango has proven to become a passion project, even for essential workers.
Harrison has shown maturity, knowledge, confidence and dedication to the community that other young candidates clearly lack. We have an incredible opportunity to experience a board of diverse, intelligent and capable councilors who can relate to all. I am looking forward to seeing our community make the most of this opportunity.
