The electric vehicles and clean transportation summit will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the La Plata County Fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave.
Participants will learn about the latest transportation developments in Colorado, infrastructure, electric vehicles and funding opportunities for fleet conversion.
Vehicle demonstrations and presentations include:
Matt Frommer, transportation program senior associate from Southwest Energy Efficiency Project, will discuss electric vehicle policy and EV grid integration.Ian Markovitz will discuss charge-point stations and charging corridor developments.Don Irmen will discuss renewable energy and biofuels opportunities.Lauren Cochran will discuss electric buses.A Ride and Drive event will also be held in which participants can learn about and test drive the latest EVs.
