Seven local high school students received lodge-funded scholarships from the Durango Elks Lodge Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
These students received $1,000 scholarships:
Robert Corbin Reiter, Durango High School; SheaLyn Baca, DHS; Sadie McAliney, DHS; Keanan Anderson, Pagosa Springs High School; Zenn Roberts, Bayfield High School; and John Valdez, Ignacio High School.
Animas High School student Lily Bisantz received a $1,000 grant from the Elks National Foundation, funded through the Colorado Elks Association.
