The city of Durango Parks Division will perform root-zone ground injections for about 60 American elm trees in the public right-of-way and city parks throughout the community.
The root-zone injections will be executed by a contract company and will target the insect European elm scale and leaf roller aphids. The applications will begin Monday and will proceed throughout the spring.
