‘End of coal-fired engine a bit tough’

Seeing the end of a coal-fired engine is a bit tough but fully understandable. Yet, I have to think what my great-grandfather would have thought.

Not only did he have a love for the railroad he’d built, but he loved the city of Durango. I think that love would have put him first in line to make the change that had to be made.

I wish I could have been there to ride that train in his place. Thanks for fine coverage of the event.
