All those motorcycles in town are participating in the 19th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America.
175 riders are scheduled to arrive at 4:45 p.m. today at Best Western Rio Grande Inn, 400 East Second Ave. Petty, a former NASCAR Sprint Cup driver, will be leading the way, accompanied by other celebrities, including football great Herschel Walker.
The group will enjoy some Durango night life before leaving at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The ride benefits Victory Junction, a camp created to benefit children facing chronic or life-threatening illnesses.
