Facts of bear case are clear – and sad

Let me see if I have my facts correct. Two illegal campers were attacked by a bear in the bear’s natural habitat. And while I sympathize with the illegal campers and their families, I actually feel more sympathy for the bear who stumbled upon their camp and the food contained therein.

So, what did we learn from this? Well, I would say (a) if the illegal campers had not camped in the bear’s home, then (b) the campers would have been safe and alive, and (c) – and this is the important part, kids – the bear would be alive and well and living out his life in his “home.”
