The Three Springs community has scheduled its 8th annual fall festival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 25.
Visitors may feel free to wear a costume. On the agenda will be trick or treating, face painting, cupcake decorating, a pumpkin patch and coloring contest. There will be live music.
Three Springs will collect canned goods for Manna Soup Kitchen; the La Plata County Humane Society will hold a pet adopt-a-thon; and the Bayfield High School girls basketball team and the Ignacio High School cheerleaders will host concession stands.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters will have a 1.5-mile obstacle course to raise funds. Visit www.BBIG.org to register.
