Its program may be stuffed with sophisticated classical music performances, but Music in the Mountains isn’t all about high-brow shows.
Family Festivo, an annual event that moves back to Rotary Park this year, is a free concert and picnic aimed at children and families. The community event will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the park, 1565 East Second Ave.
Music in the Mountains musicians will play a show of family-friendly classical music palatable to all ages, and a free lunch will be served. In addition, the Powerhouse Science Museum will offer games and science-themed activities.
