On behalf of the family of Michael Goldman, I wish to thank all of the folks who have been so supportive during this very difficult time. I have always known just what an amazing, lovely, and loving community we live in, but we have been quite overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and respect for Michael and our family here and elsewhere. Durango truly is a special place!
In my disbelief, denial and shock, I apologize that I didn’t keep track, make note of those who did these many generous, very thoughtful deeds. But, I assure you all, I remember who you are. Thank you so very, very much.
There is a planned “Celebration of Michael’s life” on May 12, from 2-6 p.m., at the Powerhouse Science Center on the Animas River, Carver Family Plaza. Michael’s big smile seems to be remembered by many, so please bring yours, as well as your stories and memories of him.
