The U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency and Colorado State University will sponsor farm bill training at 1 p.m. Oct. 31 at Lewis Arriola Community Center, 21203 County Road S.
Topics will include a discussion about the Agricultural Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage Program and how it affects farming’s future and deadlines for enrollment as well as elections and how to use online tools to make decisions about participation.
Speakers will include CSU’s agricultural and business management economists Brent Young, Jeff Tranel, Jenny Belermann and Norm Dalsted and USA Farm Service Agency representative Tiffany Ariel, state office staff, district directors and county executive directors.
