The Farmington Cinematheque Series will present “The Road to Mother” at 7 p.m. Saturday, in San Juan College’s Little Theatre,4601 College Blvd., Farmington.
The film tells the story of several generations of a Kazakh family from the 1930s to the present time, tracing the most momentous events in the history of Kazakhstan through war, separation and the determination of the clan to remain united.

The Farmington Cinematheque Series is sponsored by the San Juan College Henderson Fine Arts Center, the San Juan College Library and KSJE Radio. It features documentaries and independent films not released on a national level.
