Open audition for Heather McGaughey Children’s Theatre winter class production of “Elf, Jr.” for children and teens ages 7 to 16. If accepted, there is a participation fee of $50. Prepare a one-minute musical theater or Christmas-style song and a short monologue if auditioning for a speaking role also.

Auditions for Ed Asner’s “God Help Us!” for the male and female roles of a husband and wife with differing political views to play alongside Asner on Jan. 4. These are paid roles for adult comedy actors. Prepare a short comic monologue. The last three days of rehearsal will be with Asner’s director.

Auditions for Anne Runolfsson and Tess Adams’ “Heroine’s Song” for women and girls of all ages. Tolres are for the unpaid choir to accompany Broadway stars Runolfsson and her daughter Adams as they sing songs empowering women in “Heroine’s Song” on Jan. 18. Prepare a song to sing and sheet music for the piano accompanist. The rehearsal schedule will be determined once the choir is cast.

Auditions for Four Corners Musical Theatre Company’s production of “DISASTER!” which will run from Feb. 19 through Feb. 23. A young boy will need to be able to play both the male and female twin in the show and must be able to hit a high D. Ensemble members should be males ages 20 to 40, and women ages 20 to 35, able to play various glamorous party guests/character roles with comedy, dance and singing ability. Ensemble roles are unpaid. Prepare a song to sing and sheet music for the piano accompanist.
