Because of the public health order, Farmington Public Library is closed until further notice. Online resources remain available, and the library is now issuing ecards for easier access to online services. To register for an ecard, vsiit
Patrons do not need an eCard if they already have a Farmington Public Library card. Ecards are free, and give access to all of the library’s online resources, including ebooks and audiobooks. Ecards are good for 120 days. Ecards cannot be used to access the library’s computers, Wi-Fi or gaming, or check out physical materials when the library reopens.
Ecards may be used to access Overdrive (ebooks and audiobooks), live homework help with online tutors from 4 to 10 p.m., CultureGrams, health and wellness information and the Home Improvement Reference Center.
During the library’s closure, late fines will not accrue and due dates on physical materials have been extended to May 15.
