FARMINGTON – The FBI says an 18-year-old Shiprock-area man has been arrested in the killing of a woman on the Navajo Nation’s reservation in northwestern New Mexico.
According to a brief statement released Friday by the FBI, the woman’s body was found in a residence in Shiprock on Tuesday and that Tavor Tom was arrested Wednesday in Farmington.
Online court records don’t list an attorney for Tom who could comment on his behalf about the homicide allegation.
