The U.S. Forest Service will waive fees at its recreation sites Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
It is the first of five fee-free days the agency observes annually.
Information on fee-free days at specific sites is available at www.recreation.gov.
The four upcoming free days after Monday are Presidents Day, Feb. 16; National Get Outdoors Day, June 13; National Public Lands Day, Sept. 26; and Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
