Nearly 200 BMX bikers of all ages have descended on the Four Corners for an action packed weekend of racing. Cortez will host a state qualifying race Saturday before bikes return to the Durango BMX track on the Animas River Trail at 10 a.m. for another State qualifier. Bikers such as Bridger Hoover, 5, tested out the Durango course Friday. According to track operator Jordan Rupe, Hoover, son of Corbet and Marianne Hoover, competes in a regular weekly race every Friday at the track.
