Fencline Cider will buy apples from community members at 25 cents per pound ($500 per ton) delivered to Fenceline in Mancos.

Any type of ripe apple will be accepted. Wild seedling, crabapples and historic orchard fruit are preferred. Macro bins are available at Fenceline to pick up and use for quantities of 800 pounds or more.

Purchase requires a 100-pound, or 2 bushel, minimum. Apples will be purchased Sept. 1 to Nov. 1.
