Ignacio FFA will host the FFA Farm Barbecue Cook-off from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ignacio Middle School.
Eight teams will compete for the prize of $1,000. The FFA Booster Club will provide the brisket and pork. Registration is $250 per team. Arts and craft vendors will be selling their wares as well. Booth entry is $10.
Community members are invited to attend the community dinner that includes a serving of the meats, beans, corn on the cob, rolls, dessert and drink. Tickets are $10. Children five and younger eat free. There will be horseshoe and corn hole tournaments, a bouncy house for the kids and lots of fun and games.
