Town board seats are opening in both Bayfield and Ignacio, with municipal elections set for April 3.
Bayfield will have four trustee seats open, three for a four-year term, and one for a two-year term.
Eligible candidates are required to be registered voters and to have resided in town limits for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the date of election.
Nominating petitions are available at Bayfield Town Hall. The last day to file a nomination petition with the town clerk is 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22.
In Ignacio, three seats are available on the board of trustees, as well as the mayor's position. Nominating petitions are also due by 5 p.m. on Jan. 22.
Municipal elections will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, at each town's town hall.
