Fired up for Silverton’s winter festival

Dean Despalmes prepares for Friday evening’s Christmas Tree Burn Bonfire to kick off Silverton’s Snowscape Winter Festival, which will run through Sunday. Nighttime skiing at Kendall Mountain Ski Area, a fat bike race, a golf tournament and snow-shovel races will be among the weekend festivities.
