It was apparently much ado about nothing when a fire was reported near the intersection of Colorado Highway 172 and County Road 318 southwest of Ignacio at about 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Los Pinos Fire Protection District Deputy Chief Tom Aurnhammer said firefighters found no fire after responding to a report that was called in by a driver passing by.
