The first baby born in 2019 at Mercy Regional Medical Center arrived at 3:39 a.m. Tuesday. Parents Gabe and Jayleen Vera said that Coryn Jay Vera weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces. She joins the family with her sister, Jozy. The Veras live in Durango.
