The first-annual Durango Juneteenth celebration, formed by Durango Peace and Justice Center and sponsored by the Black Student Union, will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. June 17 at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Live music, dancing, history, art and food will be featured.
All are welcome to attend, and donations are encouraged.
