Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center and First National Bank of Durango will sponsor a workshop, “Introduction to QuickBooks,” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 in the community room at First National Bank of Durango, 259 W. Ninth St.
Laura E. Hokanson, CPA, QuickBooks pro-advisor and accounting professor at Fort Lewis College, will teach the workshop, designed for business owners who are not accountants. Hokanson will explain software, how to save time and business finances.
The workshop costs $70, $65 for chamber members. Participants are asked to bring a brown bag lunch.
