First United Methodist Church will examine the power of words to unite, build up or destroy in its sermon series at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday.
The sermons will discuss the power of words in family life, at work, in the digital age and in the political arena, and explain how to rein in hurtful speech and use words to bless others instead.
