I am also sorry that someone took a hammer to the Arc of History, but I vote we do not throw any more money at it. We can rearrange the rocks, close the gaps – it really isn’t ruined!
Heck, don’t we all get cracks as we get older? Chalk it up to the true nature of history: unforeseen changes.
Let’s instead put money into housing solutions for our needy street folks.
