Paul McGurr returns after four-year hiatus
Paul McGurr will replace Doug Lyon as dean of Fort Lewis College’s School of Business Administration.

A former professor of business at Fort Lewis College is scheduled to return as interim dean of the college’s School of Business Administration.

Paul McGurr, who taught at FLC from 2004-11, replaces Doug Lyon, who has moved to the college’s Office of Advancement to work in corporate and community relations.

After he left FLC, McGurr joined an international business school in Sweden where he was the chairman of the Department of Accounting and Law and an associate dean of education. He was voted by students as the best teacher in 2012.

Upon leaving Sweden, McGurr served for a year as president of Bristol University in Anaheim, California.
