Fort Lewis College’s Art Gallery will host its 60th annual student juried exhibition with an opening reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday via Zoom.
The show is designed and installed by students and will include many forms of media that will be judged in a professional gallery setting, where students will have a chance to win awards and prizes. The exhibition will be on display at the on-campus Art Gallery located inside Art Hall.
The show will be juried by Arielle M. Myers, an art curator, writer and researcher. She is the owner and curator of The Valley, a contemporary art gallery in Taos, New Mexico. She was chief curator at Union Hall in Denver, as well as holding previous positions at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, University of Colorado Boulder, NINE dot ARTS and Paul Kasmin Gallery in New York City.
