FLC chooses Common Reading book

For the eighth year, Fort Lewis College has selected a book for the Common Reading Experience and has invited the rest of the school and the community to read the book and join the discussion.

This year’s book selection is Full Body Burden: Growing Up in the Nuclear Shadow of Rocky Flats by Kristen Iversen. The book explores the nuclear weapons production facility outside Denver from both investigative and personal angles.

Iversen will speak at 7 p.m. today at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College. Admission is free.
