FLC cross country gets a new look for the women’s Wardrobe

Fort Lewis College added a new look to the women’s cross country wardrobe.

The women’s cross country program signed Parker native Elise Wardrobe to a national letter of intent Wednesday to run for the Skyhawks.

“Elise comes to us to complement our current Colorado Front Range talent,” DHS head coach Mark Dutro said in a news release to The Durango Herald.

“She is a three-sport letterwinner at Ponderosa and brings a good deal of championship and varsity sports experience to our strong program.”

Wardrobe ran cross country and track and swam for Ponderosa High School, starting all four years. She ran in the CHSAA Class 5A Girls Cross Country State Championships as a junior.

FLC doesn’t have a swim or track and field team.
