Dr. Jennifer Trujillo recently founded an educational consulting company called Tru-Learning that operates remotely out of Durango with clients in California, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, New York, Dubai and Washington, D.C.
Trujillo is an adjunct professor at Fort Lewis College and served as an associate professor of teacher education for 14 years. Her area of expertise is linguistically and culturally diverse education, and she utilizes her knowledge and experience at Tru-Learning to write, develop, digitally publish and disseminate educational materials, research and services.
Trujillo was recently featured in the PBS documentary “Making It: Latino Students’ Pathways to College Success.” The documentary and panel event were funded by the American Institutes for Research and the Institute of Education Sciences.
