The Kiwanis Club of Durango will meet at noon Thursday at the Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Fort Lewis College vice president for advancement Mark Jastorff will speak about issues that face the college, such as the search for a new president and the possibility of the school attaining university status.
Lunch is $13. A beverage without lunch is $3.
