Rulan Tangen, founding director and choreographer of Dancing Earth, asks audience members to join her in a circle to make various dancing movements of the body during her presentation, “De-Colonizing the Body.” Her presentation wass one of numerous events held Monday at Fort Lewis College during the annual Buffalo Council Symposium, which includes speakers, music and performances.
