Food security lecture to be held at Fort Lewis College

The Life-Long Learning Free Lecture Series will present “Food Security: An Inconvenient Truth – Global to Local Perspectives” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, in Noble Hall, Room 130, at Fort Lewis College.

Dick White, professor emeritus of astronomy at Smith College, member of the Durango City Council and sustainability advocate, will discuss the impact climate change and overpopulation will have on the Earth’s finite resources and the local community.
