The San Juan National Forest and Colorado Procurement Technical Assistance Center will host a two-day workshop about how to become a contract service or supply vendor Sept. 11-12 at the San Juan Supervisor’s Office, 15 Burnett Court.
The workshop will cover the procedures for becoming a vendor, what business base exists in the Four Corners and what is being bought by these government agencies. The workshop will also discuss how PTAC can provide businesses with free services to assist in becoming a government contractor and how to find government contracting opportunities.
This is a free workshop, but registration is recommended. Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for a face-to-face meeting with PTAC counselors Sept. 12. The workshop will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11.
