OK, you’ve decided to rid we old comic lovers of some of our favorites, but... “Nancy”? Seriously? How far back did you have to search for that old comic strip?
Take away Doonesbury and leave us with the choices that you have chosen – it’s enough to make an old person cry.
However, I see hope with the new guy, Gary Markstein.
I love his work even if we only get a glimpse of his genius through political cartoons on the editorial page.
At least thanks for that.
Or, you could give us his comic strip, “Daddy’s Home,” to make up for the mindless “Nancy”!
