Fort Lewis College exercise science students Lauryn Andre, Kelli Arbogast, Anna Diaz, Nickolis Martin, Tehenia Telliano, and Alex Tillberry were awarded a undergraduate research and creative activities grant to support their senior seminar research project, “The Role of Dorsal Foot Sensation in Locomotion.”
Students will numb the tops of volunteers’ feet, record them performing a series of walking trials on video, and analyze the footage to determine if the loss of dorsal foot sensation effects their gait.
