Fort Lewis College lecture to focus on Native American jewelry

As part of a summer lecture series at Fort Lewis College, Dexter Cirillo, author of Southwestern Indian Jewelry and Southwestern Indian Jewelry: Crafting New Traditions, will present “1868: The Impact of Bosque Redondo on Navajo Silverwork and Southwestern Indian Jewelry” at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, in the Lyceum Room of the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College.

The lecture, based on the theme “A Year in the Life of the West,” is free and open to all.
