Fort Lewis College President Tom Stritikus wants to hear from community members as he updates the school’s strategic plan.
“Since I stepped into my role as Fort Lewis College’s new president in August 2018, I’ve been traveling around the region talking to residents. As we craft a fresh strategic plan for the college, I want your voice to help shape our direction and priorities. To this end, I’d love to hear what Fort Lewis College can do to support you and your community’s social, cultural, intellectual and economic goals,” Stritikus said in a prepared statement.
A Share Your Voice event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Powerhouse Science Center, 1333 Camino del Rio. The event is free and appetizers will be served.
The college plans to hold several more of these events throughout the Four Corners in the next month.
Stritikus said the new strategic plan will put students at the center of the college, create a community-responsive college, examine how students and scholars are in action in the world and put systems in place to make sure the college is most effective.
